About

An important principle of modern giftedness education is to offer all gifted persons equal opportunities to realize their talents regardless of their ethnicity, social class, gender, religion, etc. However, there is still a long way to go before it is fully realized. On the one hand, research shows that not all children have the same chance of being identified as gifted and receiving support. On the other hand, the education of gifted children tends to be exclusive. Academic arrangements such as ability grouping, pullout programs or the various forms of acceleration also function to shield the more gifted from the slower learning pace of their peers. As a result, modern giftedness education’s commitment to ensure equal opportunities for all gifted learners and to develop a broad spectrum of inclusive commissions is of critical importance. Our conference, Diversity + Inclusion, is committed to these goals.

The Nuremberg Conference is an invite-only biennial event that fosters debate among the vanguard of researchers in talent development.
